Tucson 12-Minute Makeover

On behalf of the 355th Fighter Wing Vice Commander, Col. Robert Singleton, Davis-Monthan Air Force Base is invited to participate in a community-wide litter clean-up and beautification event that will be taking place throughout Tucson on Tuesday, Jan. 12 at 12 p.m.

On Tuesday, at exactly noon, base personnel are encouraged to step outside and clean up the immediate vicinity where they live, work, learn and play. Participants are also encouraged to recycle and dispose of the litter properly.

The goal of this program is to encourage community pride and to make a
difference on our base and within the beautiful city of Tuscon.

The 355th Fighter Wing Public Affairs office will highlight this event by posting photos on the D-M Web site (www.dm.af.mil) and by sending photos to the City of Tucson. Please note: there are a limited number of base photographers. If you know that your unit will participate in this event,
please contact the PA office at 355WGPA@dm.af.mil with the location of your clean-up. To assist the PA office, base personnel are urged to photograph their units participating in this event and send along photos with a short write-up by close of business Tuesday.

For more information, contact event POC Capt Stacie Shafran, 355th Fighter Wing public affairs chief, at stacie.shafran@dm.af.mil or 228-3398. More information about the event can be found here: http://cms3.tucsonaz.gov/12minutes.
