Five units will train at D-M during February

Davis-Monthan Air Force Base will host five Air Force flying units for training during February. 

* Eight A-10C Thunderbolt IIs from the 124th Fighter Wing, Idaho, will participate in Operation Snowbird at D-M, Feb 9-18. 

* Ten A-10C Thunderbolt IIs from the 104th Fighter Squadron, Md., will participate in Operation Snowbird at D-M, Feb 20- Mar 7.

* One KC-135 Stratotanker from the 190th Air Refueling  Wing, Kan., and one KC-135 from 134th Air Refueling Wing, Tenn., will be refueling A-10C Thunderbolts IIs participating in Operation Snowbird at D-M, Feb 9- Mar 6. 
* Two KC-10A Extenders from 305 Air Mobility Wing, N.J. will be conducting air refueling training with the 47th Reserve Fighter Squadron, Feb 6-8.

The training scenarios will take place in southern Arizona's many outstanding military training ranges and will give the units a chance to test their skills and ready them for future operations.  During their visits, the pilots will adhere to all Davis-Monthan arrival and departure procedures and noise abatement procedures.
