D-M under CINC inspection
After receiving the 2018 Air Combat Command Commander in Chief’s Installation Excellence award, Davis-Monthan Air Force Base is under inspection to be selected for the award at the Air Force level.
Established in 1985 by former President Ronald Reagan, the CINC Installation Excellence award is designed to recognize the efforts of all those who operate and maintain military installations at an exceptional level.

Air Force saves Airmen time, no longer requires first year evaluations

Santas in Blue 2017
TUCSON, Ariz., -- Volunteers from Davis-Monthan Air Force Base donated gifts to children from the Tohono O’odham Nation Indian Reservation through the annual Santas in Blue program.
This year, over 100 children from pre-K to 12th grade, were grinning from ear-to-ear when Santa Claus showed up at San Xavier Mission School making their Christmas wishes a reality.

DAVIS-MONTHAN AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz. -- Air Combat Command announced Davis-Monthan Air Force Base as the 2017 ACC Commander-in-Chief’s Installation Excellence award recipient.
Established in 1985 by former President Ronald Reagan, the CINC Installation Excellence award recognizes the outstanding and innovative efforts of the people who maintain and operate U.S. military installations.
