Davis-Monthan volunteers contributed over 3,400 hours to the Food Bank 2006-2007. In addition to sorting and packing food boxes, DM volunteers have also helped with several special food drives during the year such as Stuff a Bus, Letter Carriers Food Drive, and the Food Trade Show. Base volunteers have contributed greatly to enabling the Food Bank to distribute enough food to prepare 32,793 meals every day of the year. There is always a need for help packing boxes of emergency food at the warehouse.
