Santa played by Capt Christopher Johnson 355th Security Forces Commander, leads children in songs before handing out gifts donated from the 355th Wing during "Santa's in Blue" Thursday December 20th this is an ongoing event that has been occurring within the community many years. It involves Airmen from Davis-Monthan handing out Christmas presents to more than 400+ children grades K-3 of the Tohono O'odham Indian Reservation. Airmen from Davis-Monthan Air Force Base granted more than four hundred Christmas wishes this holiday season. Airmen delivered presents Thursday, December 19 at the Indian Oasis Elementary School. Kevin Barnhill, 355th Maintenance Group superintendent participate in the ribbon cutting ceremony Dec. 17 for the new fuel tank located on the flightline here.
