The 355th Wing will conduct the next iteration of its Dynamic Wing exercises, Nov. 2-6, 2020.

Davis-Monthan units will work alongside Air Mobility Command and the U.S. Army in this exercise to build on high-end readiness capabilities the 355th Wing has developed to meet warfighter requirements defined by the National Defense Strategy.

The purpose of the training is to better prepare Airmen for near-peer competition and to improve their readiness to rapidly deploy and execute the wing’s rescue and attack missions in austere environments.

“Davis-Monthan continues to practice agile operations with innovation and training to build a lethal, agile and resilient force,” said U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Rodney Dwyer, 355th Wing Plans and Programs chief. “Incorporating AMC and the U.S. Army this iteration allows further flexibility and opens the aperture to new possibilities. We are getting after the Dynamic Wing by building readiness, resiliency and relationships here in support of the direction given by CSAF in his article, ‘Accelerate Change or Lose’.”

This is the third exercise that the 355th Wing will train dynamic force employment. The wing will refine lessons learned from its previous exercises in the series, conducted in April 2019 and November 2019, to improve adaptability and effectiveness.
