Furlough Days expected to begin soon Published June 28, 2013 By Airman 1st Class Josh Slavin 355th Fighter Wing Public Affairs DAVIS-MONTHAN AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz. -- With the upcoming furlough days there are several units which will now be open four days a week. The expected furlough days are scheduled to take place between July 8 and September 21. 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group- Closed on Fridays Airman and Family Readiness Center- Closed on Fridays Child Development Center- will maintain current schedule Commissary- Closed on Mondays Education Center- Closed on Fridays Mission Support Group Civilian Personnel office- Closed on Fridays The non-appropriated funded organizations will be unaffected the furlough days and will maintain their current schedules. Some examples are base lodging, the Mirage Club, the bowling alley, Outdoor Recreation, and the base pool.
