Road Closure Notification

DAVIS-MONTHAN AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz. --  Beginning Feb. 18, Granite Street will permanently close between Fifth and Sixth streets. Also, Sixth Street will close permanently on the east side of the 355th Fighter Wing Headquarters building on D-M. A walking plaza will be constructed in this area between the facilities.

Please note:
-The intersection of Sixth Street and Granite will remain open to provide access for traffic onto Granite east of Sixth.

-The driveway east of the 355th Mission Support Group parking lot (between MSG and the D-M Bowling Center) will remain open to two-way traffic.

-The driveway west of the MSG parking lot (between MSG and the Benko Fitness Center) will remain open to one-way traffic exiting the parking lot.

-There is no change in access to the main 355th FW parking lot.

-The southside parking lot for the Airman & Family Readiness Center/Airmen's Attic will be accessible only from Granite Street.

At the end of Fiscal Year 2012, D-M received funding for this project in order to better comply with Department of Defense Anti-Terrorism and Force Protection standards.

Please use caution when traveling near the construction site.
