D-M to conduct test of base alert system

DAVIS-MONTHAN AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz. --  The 355th Fighter Wing is scheduled to conduct a test of the Giant Voice system Dec. 5 at approximately 10:30 a.m. During this test, individuals on base will hear the following:
  • 5-10 second wavering tone
  • 5-10 second steady tone
  • 5-10 second bugle call
     
Before it starts, a verbal message will be given over the Giant Voice system stating that the test is about to begin.
