Martin, 355th Security Forces Squadron, was tried by general court-martial on 21 August 2012. He was charged with one charge and specification of divers attempted sodomy in violation of UCJM Article 80, one charge and specification of willfully disobeying a superior commissioned officer in violation of UCJM Article 90, wrongful use of oxycodone in violation of UCJM Article 112a, and one count of assault consummated by a battery in violation of UCJM Article 128. AB Martin plead guilty to all the charges and specifications. He was sentenced by a panel of officer and enlisted members to 24 months confinement, total forfeitures, and a dishonorable discharge. Senior Airman Jude N. J. Parsons, 355th Security Forces Squadron, was tried by special court-martial on 16 August 2012. He was charged under UCJM Article 112a with one specification of possession of oxycodone with intent to distribute, and one specification of use of cocaine. He was also charged with one charge and two specifications of Forgery in violation of UCMJ Article 123. He plead not guilty in front of a military judge. He was found guilty of possession of oxycodone except the words with intent to distribute, not guilty of use of cocaine, and guilty of both specifications of forgery. He was sentenced by the military judge to be reduced to E-1, forfeiture of $900 per month for 4 months, a fine of $600, 4 months confinement, and a bad conduct discharge. Senior Master Sergeant Brian S. Alexander, 576th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Squadron, was tried by special court-martial on 6 August 2012. He was charged with a charge and specification of drunk driving in violation of UCJM Article 111. He plead guilty in front of a military judge and was sentenced to be reduced to E-7, and 20 days confinement. ARTICLE 15S-- Article 15 Actions: During August 2012, D-M commanders administered eleven Nonjudicial Punishment actions under Article 15 of the UCMJ. The punishments imposed reflect the commander's determination of an appropriate punishment after considering the circumstances of the offense and the offender's record. A "suspended" punishment does not take effect unless the offender engages in additional misconduct or fails to satisfy the conditions of the suspension. The suspension period usually lasts for six months unless a lesser amount is specified.
