Airman First Class Derrick J. Johnson, 355th Logistics Readiness Squadron, was tried by summary court-martial on 6 July 2012. He was charged with one charge and specification of divers wrongful use of marijuana in violation of UCJM Article 112a. At a trial before a summary court officer he plead guilty to the charge and specification of use of marijuana. He was found guilty of the charge and reduced to the rank of Airman Basic.

ARTICLE 15S

Article 15 Actions: During July 2012, D-M commanders administered eleven Nonjudicial Punishment actions under Article 15 of the UCMJ. The punishments imposed reflect the commander's determination of an appropriate punishment after considering the circumstances of the offense and the offender's record. A "suspended" punishment does not take effect unless the offender engages in additional misconduct or fails to satisfy the conditions of the suspension. The suspension period usually lasts for six months unless a lesser amount is specified.

Willful Dereliction - An Airman First Class received a suspended reduction to the grade of Airman, forfeitures of $225.00 pay per month for 2 months and 21 days extra duty.

Willful Dereliction - A Staff Sergeant received a suspended reduction to the grade of Senior Airman and 15 days extra duty.

Failure to Obey - A Senior Airman received a reduction to the grade of Airman First Class, 20 days extra duty, and a reprimand.

Failure to Obey - An Airman received a reduction to the grade of Airman Basic, restriction for 30 days, and a reprimand.

Larceny and Wrongful Appropriation - An Airman First Class received a received a suspended reduction to the grade of Airman Basic, reduction to the grade of Airman, forfeiture of $59.00 pay, and 14 days extra duty.

Misbehavior of Sentinel or Lookout - An Airman First Class received a reduction to the grade of Airman, 5 days extra duty, and a reprimand.

Failure to Obey - A Senior Airman received 20 days extra duty, and a reprimand.

Willful Dereliction - An Airman received a reduction to the grade of Airman Basic and a reprimand.

Failure to Go - An Airman First Class received a suspended reduction to the grade of Airman, 30 days restriction, and 30 days extra duty.
