Operation COPE to be held in October Published Oct. 2, 2012 355th FIghter WIng Public Affairs DAVIS-MONTHAN AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz. -- Deployments can be an adjustment for Airmen and their families so to assist with the transition, D-M is scheduled to hold Operation COPE here Oct. 26-28. COPE stands for connect, organize, provide and educate. The event is a retreat to honor deploying Airmen and their families. It helps to foster both healthy separation and reintegration through social activities and marriage enrichment education. It is slated to be held at the JW MarriottStarrPass Resort and Spa. The cost per family is $100 for enlisted members and $150 for officers. Attendees can enjoy a luxury resort, activities such as a family carnival, couples "date night", children's activity club and much more.
