Important base access and entry requirements during open house week Published April 3, 2012 By 1st Lt. Sarah Godfrey 355th Fighter Wing Public Affairs DAVIS-MONTHAN AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz. -- Base access procedures will be different from normal operations from 6:30 p.m. on April 13 to 6:30 p.m. on April 15. Craycroft Gate will close at 6:30 p.m. April 13 and Wilmot Gate will begin 24-hour operations as the main base entrance until the end of the open house on April 15. Anyone with base access can enter through Wilmot Gate. There will be limited pass writing abilities at this gate. Pass writing cease at 9 p.m. On April 14 and 15, Craycroft and Swan gates will be open to the general public for inbound traffic from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Craycroft and Swan gates will be outbound traffic only from 3:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. Craycroft and Swan gates will close after all open house traffic has left the base. Blue Feet Shuttle service will be provided for military ID card holders ONLY. Pick-up locations are at the Mirage Club and Medical Clinic from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on 14 and 15 April. Spectators and participants are highly encouraged to review permitted and prohibited items and to car pool for this event.
