Almost everyone has a talent be it singing, juggling or playing water glasses. To showcase the gifted Desert Lightning Team members, D-M is slated to host "D-M's Got Talent", a base talent show to be held Aug. 25 at the community center.

The competition is open to military members, dependents and civilians.

"This is essentially a base-wide morale booster," said Airman 1st Class Jennifer Dane, 612th Air Operations Center, and one of the organizers of this event. "It's a great chance for people to have fun, meet new people, and see what D-M's talented have to offer."

The show plans to feature a menagerie of talents, from musical to physical.

"If you think it's a talent we want to know about it," said Airman 1st Class Joshua Bailey, 355th Civil Engineer Squadron and also an event organizer.

Desert Lightning Team members interested in participating should contact Airman Dane at
282-8616 or Airman Bailey at 228-4520 for more information.

"If you have something that you're passionate about, you should come out and share it with everyone," Airman Bailey said.
