Cook 355th Fighter Wing Public Affairs DAVIS-MONTHAN AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz. -- The Denton Program, a commodities transportation company, is providing the public with a chance to donate humanitarian goods and equipment in support of the Japanese earthquake and tsunami relief effort. The supplies donated must be intended for humanitarian use, such as canned foods, clothing and medical supplies. Donors are responsible for the proper packaging and storage of items. Items can be dropped off at designated areas. Potential donors must submit an application to USAID. Applications may take four-six weeks to process, and only goods approved for shipment may be transported. Applications can be submitted online at http://hatransportation.ohasis.org/.
