Swan Gate closed to delivery traffic during construction

DAVIS-MONTHAN AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz. -- All commercial delivery and contractor traffic is scheduled to be relocated from Swan Gate to Gate 29 Bravo located on South Wilmot Road beginning Jan. 17.

Construction to build a permanent structure at Swan Gate for commercial driver check-in is scheduled to run through May 2011.

The new structure will replace the existing waiting area tent, and provide a more efficient arrangement for those dropping off deliveries.

After-hours and weekend traffic will continue to use Craycroft Gate for the duration of the project.

Swan Gate will continue to be open to all other military and civilian traffic during regular gate hours.
