Force support squadron announces 2 new military spouse employment courses

The 355th Force Support Squadron recently announced the following programs available for spouses of active-duty servicemembers:

Child Care Provider Training: The Airman & Family Readiness Center is partnering with the Air Force Aid Society and Pima Community College to offer free job skills training. The course is open to spouses of active-duty Air Force members interested in working in the child care field. Topics will include: development of child-care skills, positive discipline and guidance, safety issues, and more. Participants will also receive CPR certification. The course dates will be Monday-Friday., April 19-30, 2010. Application forms must be received by April 2. Call 228-5690 for more information.

Spouse Boot Camp:  Get Hired! In conjunction with Year of the Air Force Family, the Airman & Family Readiness Center has partnered with Pima Community College to offer this free employment skills training course. Topics will include skills identification, career-search strategies, resume preparation, and more. The course starts May 4, 2010. Application forms must be received by April 16. Call 228-5690 for more information.
