Chapel to host Gospel Jubilee Feb. 28

DAVIS-MONTHAN AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz. -- The Davis-Monthan base chapel will sponsor this year's 2009 Gospel Jubilee, which will encompass a rich variety of spiritual medleys. The Gospel Jubilee will be held Saturday, Feb. 28, at the base theater from 3 to 5 pm.

The evening will encompass a variety of gospel musical styles, which has influenced and been integrated into other forms and styles of musical expression in other diverse cultures. This annual event will feature participants from various churches to include singing, interpretive praise dances, mime performance, instrumentals, and audience participation. Participating churches and choirs include the following: Mt Calvary Baptist Church, Trinity Hope Church of God in Christ, Grace Temple Missionary Baptist Church, DMAFB Brothers for Christ, the IGS Choir from D-M AFB, Tucson Women's Chorus, and the Tucson Arizona Mass Choir.
