The Air Combat Command commander visited Davis-Monthan this week to conduct his semi-annual commander's group meeting with directors and commanders from various ACC bases, as well as to visit D-M.

While visiting, Gen. John Corley discussed Air Force issues connected to the Global War on Terrorism, a foreign policy advisors world update, recapitalization and modernization, and provided an F-15 status update.

General and Mrs. Alice Corley joined the Commander's Group, directors, the Twelfth Air Force and Air Forces Southern Commander, Lt. Gen. Norman Seip, and the 355th Fighter Wing Commander, Col. Kent Laughbaum in touring the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group where more than 4,200 aircraft and 40 aerospace vehicles are stored from all branches of service.

The group also surveyed the 612th Combined Air Operations Center located in the Gen. James H. Doolittle Center. The Doolittle Center is the first CAOC established in the continental U.S., and serves as the hub for the Combined or Joint Forces Air Component Commander.

The "COMACC" also visited various units on the installation Tuesday, taking time to recognize troops for their hard work in support of Air Combat Command and its mission to fly, fight and win. Coin presentations were included in the stops ranging from the 355th Medical Group to flight line maintenance units.

Mrs. Corley made several stops of her own Tuesday, along with Mrs. Kathleen Seip, Mrs. Mary Laughbaum and Mrs. BJ Parkhill. The group toured the Professional Development Center, Airman's Attic, Airman and Family Readiness Center, Women's Health Clinic, and Dorothy Finley Child Development Center. The tour included lunch with the senior spouses on D-M.
