Santas in Blue

Santa played by Capt Christopher Johnson 355th Security Forces Commander, leads children in songs before handing out gifts donated from the 355th Wing during "Santa's in Blue" Thursday December 20th this is an ongoing event that has been occurring within the community many years. It involves Airmen from Davis-Monthan handing out Christmas presents to more than 400+ children grades K-3 of the Tohono O'odham Indian Reservation. DAVIS-MONTHAN AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz. -- Airmen from Davis-Monthan Air Force Base granted more than four hundred Christmas wishes this holiday season. Airmen delivered presents Thursday, December 19 at the Indian Oasis Elementary School. "Santas in Blue" has been an ongoing tradition for Airmen who want to help needy children during the holidays.
