DAVIS-MONTHAN AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz. -- DAVIS-MONTHAN AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz. – Due to an ongoing renovation project, the 355th Medical Group’s main pharmacy, located at the clinic at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona, was closed March 2, 2026, with all services now offered exclusively at the satellite campus inside the Base Exchange.
“Even though it is a really big change, we are still providing all of the same services to our population, it just looks a little bit different,” said U.S. Air Force Maj. Ciera Espinosa, 355th Health Care Operation Squadron pharmacy flight chief. “Patients are going to be able to get prescriptions faster because we’re going to be able to fully utilize our space rather than just using a small section”
All services are still available to all patients. Prescriptions ordered by base providers will be ready for pick-up 24 hours after an appointment or after patients receive a notification. For patients who need same-day prescriptions, they can check-in at the Clinic Pharmacy before proceeding to the BX Pharmacy. Prescriptions are expected to be ready for pick-up within one hour at the BX Pharmacy.
The BX Pharmacy hours are 0730-1630 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and 0930-1630 on Wednesdays. It is closed on all federal holidays.
Tricare users are also able to use the Express Scripts service to request prescriptions delivered to their home address. The service is free for active duty, with a small co-pay for all other eligible beneficiaries. More information about this service can be found at https://militaryrx.express-scripts.com.
