Know your Route. Know Your Limits.

Camping and hiking are great ways to escape from a busy work week. It's a time to relax and relieve some stress, but first always remember to:

· Tell someone where you are going.
· Print out and take maps of the area.
· Drink a lot of water! Your body can lose up to 4 liters of water per hour during strenuous activity.
· Use sunblock, especially when at higher elevations.
· Keep your tents zipped up to prevent unwanted visitors. (snakes, spiders, and scorpions, etc.)
· Take breaks often to cool down when hiking long distances.
