Members from the 55th Electronic Combat Group welcomed home deployed squadron members, Oct. 7, 2013.

The 11 ECG Airmen returned from a combat deployment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. While deployed, members of the 55th operated an EC-130H Compass Call aircraft.

The Airmen were deployed for 3 months, but to family and friends it seemed like a lifetime.

"While our squadron has been continuously deployed for over 10 years, it's always a pleasure to welcome home our deployed Airmen and participate in their reunions with family, friends and loved ones," said Lt. Col. Arvid E. Opry, 43rd Electronic Combat Squadron commander.
