Want to support a cause or donate to your favorite charity? Here's your chance.

This year's Combined Federal Campaign will kick off, September 12 with a breakfast fundraiser at the Mirage Club.

The CFC donates roughly 250 million dollars per year to a variety of charities. The groups vary from animal shelters to children's education.

"Donating to the CFC is a great way to help out others and support a foundation you are truly passionate about," Said Master Sgt. Natasha Lindblom, 355th Comptroller Squadron Section Chief, Financial Management Flight.

Donations can be made to any of the roughly 4400 eligible charities in cash or come directly from your paychecks and can range from just a couple cents to as much as you can afford.

The money raised from the kickoff breakfast will be given to Operation Warm Heart. The non-profit organization is operated off of donations and is designed to help offset the needs of the base and local communities on an individual case by case basis.

Anyone looking to participate and donate should contact their unit CFC representative.

Those looking to attend the kick off breakfast must first purchase a ticket from their CFC representative or from Lindblom; she can be reached at (520) 228-4427
