Angel Thunder 2013 - High-Angle Rescue Training
A Grand Canyon fire rescue team uses the jaws of life at the Grand Canyon to rescue casualties from a wreckage as part of a mass casualty exercise during Angel Thunder, April 13, 2013. Angel Thunder is the largest joint service, multinational, interagency combat search and rescue exercise in the world. It is designed to train personnel recovery assets using a variety of scenarios to simulate deployment conditions and contingencies.
