D-M Load Crew of the Year competition

Staff Sgt. Kristopher Peacock, team chief for the 358th Aircraft Maintenance Unit load crew, secures a GBU-12 bomb during the annual Load Crew competition on the flight line here Jan. 28. This competition consists of a uniform inspection, written, and performance test in which teams are judged on how fast they can safely load one AIM/9 missile and two GBU-12 bombs onto the Triple Ejector Rack (TER) of an A-10 Thunderbolt II. The competition determines the winners of the Load Crew of the Year award. (U.S. Air Force photo/Airman 1st Class Jerilyn Quintanilla)
