D-M Airmen return home after six-month deployment

DAVIS MONTHAN AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz. - A C-17 Globemaster III touches down on the runway here Sept. 11, 2010. The aircraft transported approximately 20 members of the 48th and the 55th Rescue Squadrons returning home after a six-month tour to Camp Bastion, Afghanistan. While deployed the airmen supported personnel recovery, combat search and rescue, casualty and medical evacuation missions.
