Behind the Scenes: The Making of an A-10C Pilot

1st Lt. Dan Griffin, a pilot from the 358th Fighter Squadron, reviews the scenario for an upcoming surface attack tactics flight, here June 29. On the mission he’s preparing for he will fly out to the Barry M. Goldwater range and drop BDU 50’s, practice bombs which simulate the MK 82 general purpose bomb. Lieutenant Griffin is a student in the A-10C Pilot Initial Qualification course and upon completion of this course he will be a fully qualified A-10C Pilot.
