Female A-10 pilot mentors young ladies at Girls, Inc. event

Capt. Jennifer Schoeck, 354th Fighter Squadron assistant director of operations, addresses students from Lawrence Intermediate School as part of the Girls, Incorporated "Girls and Women in Sport" event April 25. The event was designed to encourage girls to develop a healthy lifestyle through lifelong involvement in sports and exercise. Captain Schoeck was invited to speak because of her experience playing Division I soccer at the U.S. Air Force Academy and her success in a traditionally male-dominated field.
