D-M Airmen salute veterans

Tech. Sgt. Adam Morrison, 355th Logistics Readiness Squadron, hands a Valentine's Day card to Gilbert Quintanilla during the 35th Annual "National Salute to Veterans" event at the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System in Tucson. Mr. Quintanilla served for two years in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II. Airmen from Davis-Monthan AFB were among hundreds of volunteers from the local area who showed their support and gratitude to Tucson's veterans. Volunteers also handed out thousands of home-made Valentine's Day cards that were sent to the veteran's hospital from children across the country. (U.S. Air Force photo/Airmen Jerilyn Quintanilla)
