354th Fighter Squadron returns from Kandahar Airfield

Capt. Wayne Blom, an A-10 pilot from Davis-Monthan Air Force Base's 354th Fighter Squadron, greets his daughter, Hayden, and wife, Lyndi, here Jan. 21, after returning from a six-month deployment to Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan. The squadron deployed 12 A-10C aircraft in support the first-ever basing of a U.S. Air Force fighter squadron in southern Afghanistan.
