Salpointe tour

Members of Salpointe Catholic High School’s “American Appreciation Club” pose in front of an A-10 Thunderbolt II aircraft on the flight line here Jan. 24. In November 2007, the patriotic club volunteered their time to support the Tee It Up for the Troops charity golf event and raised funds for the Wounded Warrior Project, which prompted 355th Fighter Wing Commander Col. Kent Laughbaum to invite the group to Davis-Monthan for a tour. The students also saw several other aircraft on the flight line and toured the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group here.
