Nov. Pilot for a Day
Pilot for a Day participant Jake McKay experiences an A-10 simulator at the 355th Operations Support Squadron Nov. 13. The simulator replicates flying an aircraft over a virtual map as realistically as possible. As part of the program, Jake and his family were provided with a tour of the base, which included the chance to see the A-10 Thunderbolt, an HC-130 Hercules and a HH-60 Pavehawk. This program benefits children of the Tucson community battling catastrophic illnesses. (U.S. Air Force photo/Airman Jerilyn Quintanilla)
