D-M Vets Day

A C-141 Starlifter, the "40614", sits at Davis-Monthan's 309th Aircraft and Regeneration Center Oct. 31, during a memorial and reunion for crewmembers who nearly crashed in Richmond, Australia, on a mission to Alice Springs, Australia  30 years ago. The aircraft, which has been reclaimed for parts, is visible from the public tour bus route and will be included in AMARGs official tour script. (Desert Lightning News photo by Kristi LaBonte)
