Senior Airman Jejay Santiago, a member of the Davis-Monthan Fire Department, shows Base Exchange customers and workers how to properly put out a fire using a fire extinguisher Oct. 12. in front of the BX. As part of Fire Prevention Week, the D-M Fire Department handed out fire prevention information, gave tours of fire trucks and held fire prevention demonstrations. "Every year the national fire prevention theme gives us the opportunity to focus our attention on prevention," said Scott Cline, D-M Fire Department fire chief. "The goal is to provide the community with a forum to ask us questions they may not normally get to ask."
