Staff Sgt. Carlo Mangoba (left), 1st Lt. Joseph DiRosario (middle) and Tech. Sgt. Kevin Shaver, all members of the 355th Civil Engineer Squadron here, clean their weapons before turning them into the armory upon their return April 6 from a six-month deployment to Southwest Asia. The team of CE Airmen worked with RED HORSE personnel to build support infrastructure in Afghanistan. Sergeant Shaver's wife, Allison, said it never gets easier, she never stops missing or worrying about her husband, but she's proud of him nonetheless. "He's obviously a great leader and mentor," she said. "We need NCOs like him over there." (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Jake Richmond)
