Master Sgt. Joel Ambion, 355th Civil Engineer Squadron, Col. Lee DePalo, 563rd Rescue Group commander, Capt. Carrie Dally, 563rd Operations Support Squadron, Col. Kenneth Todorov, 23rd Wing commander, and Col. Kent Laughbaum, 355th Fighter Wing commander, cut the ribbon for the new 563rd RQG building here May 30. The new building will be used by the 563rd Maintenance Squadron, 563rd Operations Support Squadron, 48th Rescue Squadron, 55th Rescue Squadron, and the 79th Rescue Squadron. The mission of these different squadrons is to be successful in flying operations and ensuring the combat search and rescue can be successful in saving lives.
