Hurricane Gustav relief operations
An HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopter lands at D-M Sept. 3 after returning from a rescue mission for Hurricane Gustav relief operations. Active duty members assigned to the 563rd Rescue Group and the Air Force Reserve forces assigned to the 943rd RQG both out of Davis Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz., joined the Air National Guard's 129th Rescue Wing from Moffett AFB, Calif., and the 147th Reconnaissance Wing of the Texas Military Forces to provide the Governors of Louisiana and Texas air search and rescue assets.
