U.S. Air Force Capt. Peter Dyrud, 48th Rescue Squadron combat rescue Officer from Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz., untangles 550 cords on a parachute at Skydive Arizona in Eloy, Feb. 5, 2014. In order to fold and pack the parachute properly the 550 cords must be detangled with the attached canopy and spread out.
