Air Force, Army conduct joint service training
An Arizona Army National Guard UH-60A Black Hawk helicopter from Detachment 1, C Company, 5-159th Air Ambulance, based out of Phoenix, approaches simulated downed pilots after spotting smoke from simulated downed pilots during joint training at a southern Arizona military training range, Jan. 20, 2015. The joint training consisted of A-10C Thunderbolt IIs from the 354th Fighter Squadron, based out of Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, and the UH-60A Black Hawk helicopter from Detachment 1, C Company, 5-159th Air Ambulance, based out of Phoenix, conducting close air support and combat search and rescue exercises.
