Angel Thunder 2015: German AF participates in Mass Casualty Exercise
German and U.S. Air Force pararescuemen load and provide care to simulated casualties onto a CH-53GS helicopter after teaming up with partner nation rescue personnel for an Angel Thunder 2015 mass casualty exercise at the Playas Research and Training Center, N.M, June 9, 2015. Victims in the exercise were brought to a casualty collection point where they were triaged and transferred to a U.S. Air Force HH-60 Pave Hawk, U.S. Navy MH-60 Global Hawk or a German CH-53GS for a medical evacuation.
