F-15A Disassembly
A U.S. Air Force F-15A Eagle awaits disassembly on the flightline at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz., Nov. 16, 2015. The National Museum of the U.S. Air Force transferred the F-15 A from the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group to the Western Air Defense Sector at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., for use as a static display. As part of their North American Aerospace Defense Command mission, the WADS has tactical oversight of seven air defense alert fighter units, three of which fly the F-15 Eagle.
