Heritage Flight 2016
An F-35 Lightning performs a flyover during the 2016 Heritage Flight Training and Certification Course at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz., March 5, 2016. This is the first year the F-35 Lightning II performed in the HFTCC. The F-35 is the U.S. Air Force’s latest fifth-generation fighter, providing next-generation stealth, enhanced situational awareness, and reduced vulnerability for the U.S. and allied nations.
