Ret. General Goldfein visit at the MPOY awards

U.S. Airmen assigned to the 563rd Maintenance Group unveil the restored tail of a 55th Special Operations Squadron HH-60 Pave Hawk helicopter during the Maintenance Professional of the Year awards at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona, Jan. 23, 2025. The restored tail was from the helicopter flown in the 1999 rescue of Ret. General David Goldfein, former Chief of Staff of the Air Force. The restoration of the helicopter tail honored Goldfein’s attendance as well as the hard work and dedication of the 563rd Maintenance Group personnel.
