D-M Airman found deceased

DAVIS-MONTHAN AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz. --  An Airman assigned to Davis-Monthan has been found deceased on July 31 at around 5:30 p.m.

The name of the deceased is being withheld until 24 hours after the next of kin have been notified.

"The Desert Lightning Team extends its condolences to the family and friends of the deceased Airman," said Col. James Meger, 355th Fighter Wing commander. "The loss of any member of our Air Force family is always a tragedy."

The cause of death is under investigation.
