Alternate entry, exit available for media covering open house

DAVIS-MONTHAN AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz. -- Members of the 355th Fighter Wing Public Affairs office will facilitate easier base access for media covering the 2012 'Thunder and Lightning over Arizona' open house April 14-15.

Media members who RSVP will be accommodated at a prescheduled time by public affairs staff, who will provide escort from an alternate non-public gate to an assigned parking area near the flight line.

Media interested in using the alternate entry MUST RSVP to the 355th Fighter Wing Public Affairs office at 228-3406 no later than 2:30 p.m. Monday, April 9. Media who would like to use this entry are required to provide date of birth, social security number, and driver license number as part of the new Depart of Defense base access procedures.

Based on available escort personnel, PA staff members will do their best to accommodate coverage timeframes of individual media outlets on a first-come, first-served basis.
