D-M Airman killed in off-base ATV accident

DAVIS-MONTHAN AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz. -- An Airman assigned to Davis-Monthan Air Force base was killed in an ATV accident off-base and pronounced dead at 8 p.m. Nov. 18.

The name of the deceased is being withheld until 24 hours after the next of kin have been notified.

"Our thoughts are with the Airman's family during this time and we are sad to lose a member of our team," said Col James Meger, 355th Fighter Wing vice commander.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
