D-M Installation Restoration Program public comment period begins Published Jan. 27, 2011 By 040111 DAVIS-MONTHAN AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz. -- D-M Installation Restoration Program public comment period on Proposed Plans for Program Sites OT-41 and OT-46 will run Jan. 9 through Feb. 8. As a part of the IRP, D-M contracted Innovative Technical Solutions to examine these sites and found that they present no unacceptable risks to human health or environment. Site OT-41 is a series of burial pits previously containing hazardous wastes and Site OT-46 is a Chevron area previously used for the inprocessing of aircraft. The proposed plan documents for sites OT-41 and OT-46 indicate that no further action is needed at either site. Interested citizens may provide written comments on these plans during the public comment period. The proposed plans are available for viewing at the Joel D. Valdez Main Library located at 101 N.
