Off-base parents may begin to pick up their students

Off-base parents may pick up their students at Borman Elementary, Sonoran Science Academy, Youth Programs and School Age Programs and the Child Development Centers beginning at 3 p.m. today following a base lockdown.

Schools were placed on lock-down this morning in response to a security incident on base at 11 a.m.
Accountability of all students was attained immediately following the lockdown.

All off-base parents must enter the base through the Wilmot Gate. Base personnel will be on base to direct traffic.

Those picking up children from Borman Elementary must take Quiota Road directly to Crusader Rd. to Quioto Rd. through Wilmot Gate. Parents must reroute from Lightning Rd. to Crusader Rd. to Quiota Rd. through Wilmot Gate.

Those picking up children from the Sonoran Science Academy must take Quiota Rd. road to Albro Rd. Parents must reroute from Albro Rd. to Qiuota Rd. through Wilmot Gate.

Those picking up children from Youth Programs and School Age Programs must use Quiota Rd. directly to the program building. Parents must reroute through Quiota Rd. to Wilmot Gate.

Those picking up students from the Child Development Centers must use Quiota Road directly through Craycroft Rd. to 5th Ave. All parents will enter the CDC through this entrance. Parents must reroute through Commanche to 5th Ave. to Arizola to Quiota and out the Wilmot Gate.
