563rd OSS officer involved in accident

DAVIS-MONTHAN AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz. -- A combat rescue officer with the 563rd Operations Support Squadron was involved in an accident at approximately 9:35 a.m. during routine training in Eloy, Ariz., today.

The captain is being flown to Maricopa County Hospital in Phoenix, Ariz. There is currently no information available regarding the severity of the captain's injuries.

The cause of the accident is currently under investigation. More information will be released as it becomes available.
